You don't have to spend more than a few minutes in a marketing forum, to discover that everyone seems to be looking for Strategies to Improve Writing Style that will solve their internet marketing challenges.
More commercial motorcycle dealers and private sellers than ever, are moving to selling motorcycles on the internet. The most obvious advantages are obvious in that they reach millions of customers around the world.
Hmmm. I set an option for my ClustrMap to archive every month, and it looks like it has not only done this (I must check the archive, I assume the previous map is in there) AND reset my counter back to zero.
I'm mulling over whether to ask them to put it back to how it was or to see where people are coming from now. For instance I am gratified to see that the person in India is still visiting :) So I shall leave it as it is for now.

Not only can I apparently keep going with the existing map and not have to start over with a new one for the new blog host (we'll see how that goes) but I can put it in the margin and not have to worry about it being on the front page all the time, as it will be, all the time.
Oh frabjous day, calloo callay
]]> ![cdata[>You can get a free ClustrMap (like the one I have in my sidebar) that displays the locations of the people who visit your blog. It can be set to update daily, and is a really neat and easy-to-set-up feature. To get a ClustrMap, you will have to register with ClustrMaps. You can find the register page here: http://clustrmaps.com/counter/register.php. Be sure to give the URL for the website you will put your ClustrMap on.
Once registered, you will be sent an email containing your ClustrMaps password and a link to find the page where you can get your ClustrMap.
To put your ClustrMap on WordPress, copy your personal ClustrMap code (your ClustrMap code can be found when you sign in to ClustrMaps). Then sign in to WordPress and go to Presentation, Sidebar Widgets. Drag a Text widget to your sidebar, and for the body of the widget, paste your ClustrMap code. Then you can title your ClustrMap if you wish. Your map will appear when you have saved your sidebar preferences.
]]> ![cdata[>I don't know if this needs to stay on the front page, but I feel better keeping it there.

]]> ![cdata[>Keeping this on the front page. I expect it to update sometime in the next week. We've gone back down to our normal 10-15 hits a day now that the unpleasantness at FF is too boring to talk about.
]]> ![cdata[>Another remap! In less than two weeks.
New lights: Baltic states, Poland - my world is opening up. Need some more South America, people :)

]]> ![cdata[>Ironically enough as the FF Police were trying to discourage people from coming to read this, I have had the fastest remap in the history of this blog.
Well, maybe not, I don't actually know how long it takes to get from map to map. All I know is it redraws after an increase of 10%, which means that presupposing demand for your blog pages is constant, it takes progressively longer between remaps to notch up the requisite traffic.
But not this time :) my little old limited-interest ramblings, which normally notch up between 1 and 10 visitors a day including me, have been subjected to the intense scrutiny of 50 visitors a day or more over the last few days.
I've been managing websites for a long time now and never before have I felt so proud, or indeed so interested in hits, particularly number of hits. It's all about quantity, people :)
And lo! there be new lights. We now have an altar stone in our Western US circular monument for gathering aliens (I was getting worried about that) as well as more Europeans and Russians. South America now has two lights (not sure if it did before) and soon I will not be able to notice where the new lights are as there are so many.
It's nice to be read, even if people disagree or think it's rubbish, it's still nice.

]]> ![cdata[>Here's the latest - no new lights as far as I can see. There's an interesting circle formation in the Western US with no lights inside. I need someone to go to Vegas and look at my blog!
UPDATE: The map has refreshed since I wrote the above, and there ARE two new lights - Bermuda/Jamaica/somewhere in the Caribbean and somewhere in South America. My geography of that region is abysmal. Now I have a reason to read up on it a bit more.
]]> ![cdata[>I'm so pleased with my clustermap. Here it is again, as before you need to click on it to see the detail
I know who most of the dots are. I am coming through as Auckland because of the way my IP address is catalogued, and it looks as though my fond papa is reported as London, which is a little easterly. But who are the mysterious visitors from Switzerland and, now, Tasmania?
oo-er :)
]]> ![cdata[>Well, I finally persuaded my ClusterMap to update, and lo! visitors from the UK, Canada and the US :) all over the US in fact, much more than I thought!
Here is the map again to save you all scrolling for it
It's worth clicking on to get the full effect :)
Enjoy!
]]> ![cdata[>...let's see who's actually reading this thing, or at least, where they come from
I bet it's all NZ, ie, all me.
